Upgrading mobile network coverage with 5G leads to lane narrowing
Further work to upgrade mobile network coverage will be carried out in the Darmstadt City Tunnel from Monday, September 15th, to Friday, September 26th, 2025 , between 8 pm and 5 am each day . The aim is to equip the tunnel with the 5G mobile standard .
During the construction work, the roadway in the tunnel will be narrowed . However, the entrances and exits to the parking garages will remain open without restrictions.
