Work on Erbacher Straße near Hofgut Oberfeld
In Darmstadt, the pedestrian crossing on Erbacher Straße near the Oberfeld estate is being renewed. The city of Darmstadt reports that a new control unit has already been installed.
Completion planned by the spring festival
The control cabinet and the necessary power connection are already installed. The remaining work, including the installation of cables and signaling systems, is scheduled to be completed by May 9th.

The defect necessitated replacement
According to transport commissioner Paul Georg Wandrey, the previous control unit of the mobile system failed in February and was beyond repair. Therefore, a replacement was procured.
The relevant authorities are currently working on the installation and programming of the new system.
