Flute quartet brings French Impressionism to Weiterstadt
As part of the event series "(Time Out) at the Castle," the city of Weiterstadt invites you to a special concert evening. On Friday, April 24, 2026, the flute quartet "Plaisir de Flutes," conducted by Beate Petri, will perform at Braunshardt Castle.
The tonal variety of the transverse flute
The quartet primarily dedicates itself to works by French composers such as Dubois, Bozza, Paubon, and Berthomieu. Impressionist music is characterized by delicate timbres, flowing lines, and vibrant structures.
The ensemble brings this diversity to the stage, combining elegant soundscapes with an atmospheric interpretation of the works.
Concert evening in a historic setting
The concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The historic setting of Braunshardt Castle provides the perfect backdrop for an immersive concert experience.
Admission is €15 and includes a welcome drink. Tickets are available in advance directly at the castle and at the Weiterstadt town hall.
