Author Nicola Quaß will present her novel on May 6th
On Wednesday, May 6th, Nicola Quaß's novel "Hungergesang" will be presented at the Literaturhaus Darmstadt. The event begins at 7:30 pm; admission is free.
An atmospheric novel about secrets and identity
The evening's focus is a gripping story about three sisters: After their parents vanish without a trace, the thirteen-year-old triplets Mara, Lara, and Sara are left to fend for themselves. What initially seems like freedom quickly develops into a journey full of dark revelations.
The novel combines a poetic narrative style with a dense atmosphere and poses questions about identity, the past, and cohesion. The unique dynamics between the characters are explored, as is the mysterious setting of their house.
Conversation and musical accompaniment
Following the reading, Kurt Drawert and Michael Hüttenberger will speak with the author about the work and its creation.
The evening will be musically accompanied by Ulrich Pietsch and Noemi Wulfes on the cello.
