The general meeting sets the course for the coming years
The Reinheim Business Association elected a new board of directors for the coming years at an extraordinary general meeting. The elections took place on May 26, 2026, in the meeting room of the Reinheim Savings Bank.
Ulrich Diehl was re-elected as chairman. The members thus reaffirmed their confidence in him for the future work of the association.
Newly appointed extended board
In addition to the chairman, other positions within the club were also filled. Heidi Nelius, Roman Gerlach, and Jens Mörsch were elected or confirmed to the extended board. Tobias Hix will also actively participate in the board's work in the future.
The position of deputy chairman will remain vacant for the time being. The treasurer's position will also continue to be filled on an interim basis. Peter Sawatzki will assume this role until the next general meeting, which is planned for early 2027.
Member recruitment and networking are the focus
A key focus of the meeting was the future direction of the business association. Particular emphasis was placed on attracting new members, retaining existing member businesses, and further strengthening the network within the Reinheim business community.
Chairman Ulrich Diehl announced that he intends to continue the successful work of the association and at the same time attract more committed members to the board.
The website and member services are to be expanded
The members also unanimously decided to appoint Gabi Knaut to professionally manage and further develop the club's website.
Furthermore, it is intended to develop concepts to further expand the added value of membership and to promote exchange between member companies.
“Our goal is to make the business association even more attractive for existing and new members and to further strengthen the networking of companies in Reinheim,” explained Ulrich Diehl.
Exchange during the joint barbecue evening
After the elections and deliberations, the members' meeting ended around 7:50 p.m. At the subsequent barbecue on the roof terrace of the Reinheim savings bank, the members took the opportunity for personal exchange and to cultivate existing contacts.
