Martial arts school collects several titles and podium finishes
The martial arts school SAN-TI achieved several titles and podium finishes at the WMAC European Championship in Slovenia.
According to the organizers, around 1400 athletes from various nations participated in the European Championship from May 8th to 10th, 2026.
Successful track record for the SAN-TI team
The team from Darmstadt/Eberstadt competed in the disciplines of point fighting, light contact, karate kumite and karate kata.
The three athletes achieved a total of:
- four first places
- two second places
- two third places
- two fifth places
With these results, the athletes also collected important ranking points for the elite team of the German WMAC national team.
Ben Gebhardt with several titles
The tournament was particularly successful for Ben Gebhardt.
He secured four first places and two second places, prevailing against international competition in events such as Karate Kumite and Pointfighting.
International experience for young talent
Amir Gadzo also showed strong performances in the Juniors age group (12 to 14 years).
He achieved a third place in point fighting as well as further placements in light contact and karate kata.
In the junior category, Amina Gadzo also faced international competition in the Dragons 7 to 8 year age group and took third place in point fighting.
Team spirit and international experience are key
According to the martial arts school, in addition to sporting achievements, the focus was primarily on international experience.
The coaches were particularly proud of the team's cohesive and disciplined performance at the European Championship.
