Good placings at competitions on Lake Constance and in Frankfurt
Despite the sweltering summer temperatures, the athletes of the SG Arheilgen triathlon department delivered strong performances last weekend. Both in a long-distance swim in Lake Constance and at the Frankfurt City Triathlon, endurance and finishing the race healthy were paramount.

Guido Götz took on the middle-distance triathlon , consisting of a two-kilometer swim, an 80-kilometer bike ride, and a 21-kilometer run. He crossed the finish line after 5:07:56 hours , placing 32nd out of 47 starters in his age group .
Health took priority
Given the high temperatures, the most important goal for all participants was to finish the competition healthy. The extreme heat placed an additional physical strain on the athletes and made the competitions even more demanding. The triathlon department of SG Arheilgen was therefore very pleased with the performances of its athletes.
