The band combines rock 'n' roll classics with hits from several decades
For over 35 years, the Time Bandits have been performing in the region and beyond. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the band will be playing at the Kulturbahnhof Weiterstadt. The program includes a concert featuring rock 'n' roll, blues, and well-known songs from various decades.
From Elvis to Tina Turner
The Time Bandits originally started out as a pure rock 'n' roll band. Songs by Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, and Jerry Lee Lewis were part of their repertoire from the very beginning. Now, their setlist extends beyond the classic rock 'n' roll era.
The program includes songs by the Blues Brothers and James Brown, as well as pieces by T. Rex and Tina Turner. Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" and Billy Swan's "I Can Help" are also part of the selection. Both songs were also performed by Elvis Presley in the 1970s.
German-language rock 'n' roll is also represented. This includes "Pfefferminz" by Marius Müller-Westernhagen and "Schickeria" by the Spider Murphy Gang.
