Interactive event planned for April 24th from 1 pm to 5 pm
The Vivarium Zoo in Darmstadt is looking for volunteers for this year's spring cleaning. The event will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Support with various tasks
Volunteers can support the zoo team with various tasks. These include cleaning surfaces and windows, setting up new signs, and refilling areas with substrate.
Participation is possible from age 12
Those interested can register with the zoo until Monday, April 20th. Participation is possible from the age of 12. Young people must be accompanied by an adult who will supervise them.
Practical advice for participants
Wearing appropriate work clothing is recommended. The zoo also advises wearing safety shoes of category S2.
The event will conclude with a shared snack.
