Auction on April 25th at the Luisencenter and Stadthaus
The lost and found office of the city of Darmstadt will auction off numerous lost items and bicycles again on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The auction begins at 11 a.m. in the Citizens' and Public Order Office in the Luisencenter.
City Councillor Paul Wandrey will act as auctioneer. Access on this day will only be via the escalator in the Luisencenter.
Lost and found items up for auction
First, various lost and found items will be auctioned off. These include umbrellas, bags, backpacks, glasses, jewelry, clothing, as well as a large suitcase and golf clubs.
Three bottles of brandy are also offered. These will only be given to adults upon presentation of identification.
Bicycle auction at the town hall
Starting around 12:30 pm, found bicycles will be auctioned off in the courtyard of the town hall at Grafenstraße 47. The selection includes women's, men's, and children's bicycles in varying conditions – from roadworthy to in need of repair.
Among them are a recumbent bicycle and several e-bikes. All bicycles were previously checked by the police.
