Anna Kobinger and Thomas Tegethoff are joining the management team
At the annual general meeting of the Catholic Life Eberstadt Support Association (Förderverein Katholisch.Leben.Eberstadt e. V.) on June 10th at the St. Josef parish hall in Darmstadt, Claudia Ehry was re-elected as chairwoman and Dr. Michael Augenstein as vice-chairman. Anna Kobinger and Thomas Tegethoff were newly elected to the board as members-at-large.
interim solution for cash register and record keeping
Since no candidates were initially nominated for the positions of treasurer and secretary, Dr. Michael Augenstein will provisionally assume the duties of treasurer from Christian Hoening. Claudia Ehry will continue to provisionally serve as secretary.
The board also includes Christian Hoening, Michael Heidt, and Ursula Janetzko as assessors. Peter Ehry and Dr. Silke Albermann declined to run for re-election. Bernd Kölchen and Bernd Rupprecht were confirmed as auditors.
Environmental award and community involvement
Looking back on 2025, the focus was particularly on the redesign of the St. Josef parish garden into a natural and climate-adapted meeting space, as well as the planning for a bicycle parking area. The parish received the environmental award of the Diocese of Mainz for the green meeting space.
In addition, the association was involved in various projects in the Eberstadt district, including the "Clean Eberstadt" campaign and the Advent "Meeting under the Christmas tree".
Musical offerings are to be expanded
For the current year, the association is planning to expand its musical activities in particular. In addition to a diverse concert program in St. Joseph's Parish Church, the Eberstadt Singing School, founded by regional cantor Anna Kobinger, will be a central focus. The program is aimed at children, teenagers, and young parents.
