Applications for the development team are still possible until May 17th
Griesheim is seeking new members for its citizen participation development team. Interested individuals can apply until Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Cooperation between citizens, politics and administration
The development team consists of citizens working together with representatives from administration and politics. The goal is to further expand and improve citizen participation in local decision-making.
The work is based on the guidelines for good citizen participation, which were already adopted by the city council in 2019.
Tasks of the development team
The committee reviews whether the guidelines are being implemented in the best interests of the citizens and advises on structures for citizen participation in Griesheim. This includes both specific projects and fundamental participation processes.
The team consists of 12 citizens, supplemented by representatives from politics and administration. The minimum age for participation is 14. Meetings take place four times a year.

Applications are submitted via the participation platform "Griesheim Gestalten". After the deadline, a selection will be made, ensuring a balanced team composition.
