Fire alarm work will cause nighttime disruptions in the city center
The city tunnel in Darmstadt will be temporarily closed for two consecutive nights. The closures will take place on the night of Monday, June 15th, to Tuesday, June 16th, and the night of Tuesday, June 16th, to Wednesday, June 17th.
The closure is in effect from 8 p.m. to approximately 6 a.m. The reason for this measure is the installation of fire alarm cables on the tunnel ceiling.
Restrictions at parking garages
During the construction work, the entrances and exits to the Q-Park and APCOA parking garages will remain accessible via Rheinstraße. However, the underground parking garage exit in the City Tunnel will be closed during this period.
The Wilhelmin parking garage is also inaccessible. Access is not possible during the cable laying work.
Road users are asked to take the closures into account when planning their routes.
