Health program offers opportunity for involvement in the senior citizens' sector
The German Red Cross (DRK) Darmstadt-Stadt branch is seeking a new instructor for a senior citizens' exercise group in Darmstadt-Arheilgen. This program is particularly aimed at people who enjoy exercise and working with older participants.
Weekly course at the senior citizens' center
The existing group meets regularly at the Fiedlersee senior citizens' center. The course will continue to take place once a week, every Monday from 3 to 4 p.m.
The German Red Cross's health program is aimed primarily at older people interested in exercise who are unable to use traditional sports programs for various reasons.
Opportunities also available for career changers
In addition to existing instructor qualifications, motivation and enjoyment of working with senior citizens are particularly important. Those returning to the profession, as well as those with experience in physiotherapy, sports, or education, are also welcome to apply.
The activity is compensated within the framework of a trainer's allowance.
