Cooking class meets on September 24th at the Caritas Center Eberstadt South – registration required by September 21st
The multicultural cooking studio GARI BALDI invites you to its next communal cooking evening on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. The event is being held in cooperation with the Caritas Center Eberstadt South and the Sonnenschein senior citizens' café at Kirchtanne 33.
For over 20 years, GARI BALDI has been bringing people from Eberstadt and the surrounding area together for communal cooking evenings. The meetings take place on the last Thursday of each month and focus on different themes.
Cooking and exchanging ideas about different cultures
The focus is on dishes from different countries and regions. In addition, the meetings provide information about cultural, social, and political contexts. The program is open to interested individuals of all ages.

GARI BALDI is also looking for additional cooperation partners who would like to help organize one of the cooking evenings and present their culture or organization.
Senior citizens' café Sonnenschein has been under new management since July
The Sonnenschein senior citizens' café is also a cooperation partner for the current cooking evening. The former municipal senior citizens' meeting place has been organized by the community work department of the Caritas Center Eberstadt South since July 2026.
The senior citizens' café takes on Mondays from 2 pm to 4:30 pm at Café N(I)mmersatt, Weidigweg 2. In addition to coffee, drinks and cake, there is an opportunity for conversation and occasionally an additional program.
