The Resurrection Parish invites everyone to a communal singing event on September 27th – followed by a partnership service
A gospel workshop in Arheilgen will bring together singers from Darmstadt and guests from South Africa on Sunday, September 27, 2026. From 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., gospel songs and international hymns will be rehearsed in the community center of the Church of the Resurrection. No prior experience is necessary.
The workshop is taking place on the occasion of a visit by a delegation from the South African partner parishes of the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt. Finn Krug will be the musical director.
Songs are sung during the church service
The pieces developed during the afternoon will then be incorporated into the partnership service at 6 p.m. in the Church of the Resurrection.
The gospel workshop is for anyone who enjoys singing together. It will take place in the community center of the Church of the Resurrection, Messeler Straße 31 in Darmstadt-Arheilgen.
