Artists' association honors work and impact with exhibition in the Old Town Hall
The Seeheim-Jugenheim Artists' Association is commemorating the late artist Herbert Rauh with an exhibition. The show, "in memoriam Herbert Rauh," will be on display at the Galerie Altes Rathaus Jugenheim from April 26 to May 24, 2026.
A look back at a formative artistic work
With this exhibition, the artists' association honors Rauh's long-standing commitment, as he played a decisive role in shaping the association's work as spokesperson and chairman. His works offer insight into a diverse artistic output.
His portraits of important musicians and composers, which were exhibited at Heiligenberg Castle for many years, are particularly well-known. His work also includes expressive landscapes with striking colors and lively brushstrokes.
