BARTONE Collective will be playing in Darmstadt-Eberstadt on September 10th
Under the title "Ewwerscht swings," the first open-air jazz summer night will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Geibelsche Schmiede in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. The BARTONE Collective will present jazz standards, ballads, and well-known pop and soul songs starting at 7:30 p.m.
The concert is organized by the Eberstadt Citizens' Association of 1980 and Paul's Cultural Space. It will take place in the garden/courtyard of the Geibel blacksmith shop at Oberstraße 20. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors.
From Frank Sinatra to Sting and Joe Cocker
The BARTONE Collective consists of Andreas Schlossarek (vocals), Norbert Paul (piano), Nicky Madden (saxophone), Wolfgang Ritter (bass) and Christoph Gräbener (drums).
Musically, the program ranges from classic jazz standards in the style of Frank Sinatra to ballads and songs from pop and soul. It also includes pieces by Sting and Joe Cocker.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost €15 and can be reserved in advance by emailing info@e-bv.info . Food and drinks will be available, provided by the Eberstadt Citizens' Association.
