Jochen Günther will play songs from the Beatles to Simon & Garfunkel on September 13th
Around the time of the Pfungstadt fair, the Protestant St. Martin's parish is once again hosting several events. St. Martin's Church, whose consecration 274 years marked the origin of the fair, will again be a meeting place for visitors this year.
On Saturday and Sunday of the village fair, the fair café under the plane trees will be open with a large selection of homemade cakes. The Protestant youth group will also be offering non-alcoholic drinks.
Concert featuring pop music classics
A musical highlight is the village fair concert on Sunday, September 13th, at 5 p.m.Musician Jochen Günther from Guntersblum will present "Timelessly Beautiful Songs" in St. Martin's Church, accompanying himself on his twelve-string guitar. The program includes well-known songs from the Beatles to Simon & Garfunkel.
Admission is free.
