Regional cantor Jorin Sandau will present the Winterhalter organ and its technical and tonal innovations in Darmstadt on September 13th
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 2 p.m., an organ tour will take place at St. Ludwig Church in Darmstadt. The occasion is Open Monument Day. Regional cantor Jorin Sandau will present the Winterhalter organ and demonstrate the instrument using sound examples.
This year's focus is on the tonal and technical innovations implemented during the organ's overhaul in early 2026. During the tour, Sandau will explain the instrument and answer visitors' questions.
Admission to the organ tour in St. Ludwig is free, donations are welcome.
