The weekly market invites you to linger and enjoy
The town of Groß-Gerau has announced that the first market breakfast of the year will take place at the weekly market on Saturday, April 25, 2026. From 9:30 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m., visitors can shop and enjoy culinary offerings on site.
Clubs provide food
In addition to the regular market offerings of fresh food, local clubs offer additional food and drinks. The Dornheim/Groß-Gerau handball club, for example, serves waffles, cakes, pretzels, and various beverages.
VfR Groß-Gerau will also be participating with coffee and cake. In addition, tickets will be available for a special football event: On May 8, 2026, the Eintracht Frankfurt veterans team will play in Groß-Gerau.
Platform for associations and initiatives
With the market breakfast, the city creates a platform for clubs, institutions, and restaurants to present themselves to a broad audience. There are no longer any content restrictions for the offerings, allowing for a wide variety of food.
Further dates throughout the year
In addition to the opening event on April 25, further market breakfasts are planned for May 23, June 27, July 25, August 22, and September 26. Those interested can register with the Office for Society, Culture, and Social Affairs of the City of Groß-Gerau.
