Lecture on fraudulent emails and individual consultation on June 13th
The Seeheim-Jugenheim Senior Citizens' Council invites you to its next mobile phone and computer consultation session on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Forum am Rathaus (Town Hall Forum). The event is aimed at all residents seeking assistance with using smartphones, tablets, or computers.
The event begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Villenave d'Ornon room (stage) in the Forum at the Town Hall. Access is via the entrance "Behind the Church" and not via the main entrance.
Lecture on telephone and internet scams
The event will begin with a roughly 45-minute presentation. Titled "Fraudulent Emails and Unwanted Calls – Recognizing and Responding to Them," it will provide participants with practical advice on how to protect themselves from fraudulent scams.
This includes, among other things, recognizing suspicious emails and calls early on and reacting appropriately to such situations.
Individual help from experts
Following the presentation, experienced advisors will be available for personal consultations. Those seeking advice can ask specific questions about their devices and receive individual support.
Registration is not required for either the lecture or the subsequent consultation. Individual consultations can also be attended independently of the lecture.
Next appointment already scheduled
The next mobile phone and computer consultation will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The topic will be "Getting Started with Your Smartphone – A Brief Introduction".
Further information can be obtained from organizer Holger Thiesing by telephone at 0170 5384808.
