The municipality recommends checking in good time before the summer holidays
The municipality of Nauheim is highlighting its straightforward citizen services ahead of the summer holidays. Since the holidays in Hesse begin on June 29, 2026, residents should check the validity of their identification documents well in advance.
Apply for your passport in good time
Anyone planning to travel abroad should apply for a new passport well in advance. Processing time is usually between four and eight weeks.
Applications can be submitted without an appointment at Nauheim Town Hall. The required biometric passport photo can also be taken on-site at a machine.
Other services available without an appointment
In addition to passport applications, the citizens' office offers numerous services without prior appointment. These include, among other things, registration and change of address, registration certificates, identity cards, and certificates of good conduct.
Services such as the lost and found office or the issuing and renewal of a fishing license can also be used spontaneously during opening hours.
Opening hours overview
The citizens' office is open several mornings and sometimes afternoons. It has particularly long opening hours on Thursday afternoons.
The municipality emphasizes that no telephone or digital registration is required.
