Works from Munich, Paris and London will be performed on August 30th
The Pfungstadt Choir invites you to a concert of 19th-century European choral music on Sunday, August 30th, at 5 pm . The program in the church will feature works by Johann Georg Herzog , César Franck , and Alfred Hollins , all considered important composers of choral and organ music.
Choir, soloist and organ music
The choir presents selected works for choir and organ. Michaela Kögel, deanery musician in Forchheim, will be the solo soprano. She will be accompanied by Frank Stanzl from Cologne, a regular guest organist in Pfungstadt. In addition to accompanying the choir, he will play 19th-century organ works, including pieces by Edward Elgar. Together with Michaela Kögel, he will also perform compositions for soprano and organ by Peter Cornelius and Charles Villiers Stanford.
The concert lasts approximately 80 minutes.

Tickets cost €10. No discounts are available. The concert is presented in cooperation with the South Hesse Cultural Summer Festival . Tickets are available online and at the Rosenlädchen shop at Eberstädter Straße 68.
