From August 22nd to September 11th, bicycle kilometers will be collected again
The city of Weiterstadt is once again participating in the nationwide STADTRADELN. From August 22nd to September 11th, 2026, citizens are encouraged to cover as many everyday journeys as possible by bicycle and thus collectively collect kilometers for Weiterstadt.
The aim of this campaign is to further establish the bicycle as an environmentally friendly means of transport in everyday life and to contribute to climate protection and sustainable mobility.
Many groups can participate
Anyone who lives, works, attends school, or is a member of a club in Weiterstadt can participate. The kilometers cycled are recorded online and included in the nationwide ranking of the STADTRADELN competition. Participation is possible both individually and as a team.
Registration possible from summer onwards
Registration for the 2026 City Cycling campaign will be possible from summer onwards via the website stadtradeln.de/weiterstadt . Interested parties will also find further information about the campaign and how to record their cycled kilometers there.
With this competition, the city aims to motivate as many people as possible to use bicycles more often in everyday life, thereby contributing to climate protection and the promotion of cycling.
