Samuel Foschum takes over as chairman of the local association
The local branch of the SPD in Seeheim-Jugenheim elected a new board at its annual general meeting on April 24th. This represents a personnel restructuring of the party in Seeheim-Jugenheim.
Samuel Foschum is the new chairman
Samuel Foschum was elected as the new chairman. He takes over the position following the resignation of his predecessor, Andreas Keil, last year.
Foschum has experience in local politics and was most recently the SPD parliamentary group leader in the municipal council. In the local elections in March, he headed his party's list, which achieved a result of around 25 percent.
The board relies on a mix of experience and new ideas
Verena Motzel was elected vice-chair. Wolfgang Weber will take over the role of secretary. Peter Kannegießer will be responsible for finances as treasurer, supported by Katrin Ries.
The board members are Doris Schumacher-Braun, Marita Stein, Paul Kuczera, Luca Ramge and Matthias Rossmann.
Focus on local politics
The new board intends to continue and further develop local political work. This will involve incorporating both established structures and new ideas.
