Wine, shopping and family program from September 3rd to 6th – Sunday shopping from 1 pm to 6 pm
For four days, Darmstadt's city center will once again transform into a haven of culinary delights and experiences: From Thursday, September 3rd, to Sunday, September 6th, the Darmstadt Wine Festival invites visitors to sample and linger at its wine and food stalls along Wilhelminenstraße. The wine festival is complemented by a diverse city program including a craft market, a cycling event, family activities, and a Sunday shopping day.
The shops in the city center will open their doors on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Over 80 labels at the "Market of Beautiful Things"
A new highlight premieres on Sunday: Å PÄVI'S Market of Beautiful Things moves to Friedensplatz, Centralstation, and the Carree shopping center. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., more than 80 designers and manufacturers will present handcrafted products – from fashion and jewelry to home accessories. Food trucks, drinks, and a family program round out the creative market.
Super Sale starts in the former McDonald's
Also starting on Sunday is the super sale at Darmstadt's trendy shops. In the former McDonald's at Ernst-Ludwig-Straße 26, four well-known stores are clearing out their stock and offering fashion and streetwear at reduced prices. The sale runs from September 6th to 12th, daily from 1 pm to 6 pm. Participating shops include Agentur Derbe, MAMACITA, P2, and RAILSLIDE.
Bicycle Action Day and focus on children's mobility
On Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the marketplace will be all about bicycles. At the 15th Darmstadt Bicycle Action Day, visitors can expect a bicycle flea market, free bicycle registration, bicycle checks, test rides in rickshaws, and the awards ceremony for the City Cycling Challenge. For the first time, a children's mobility day will take place concurrently, playfully raising awareness of road safety.
KinderKiste makes a stop in the city center
Families will also find something to enjoy: The KinderKiste (Children's Box) will be at the Carree on Saturday and at Ludwigsplatz on Sunday. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day, large games, vehicles, building blocks, and, on Sunday, face painting will be available for children to join in the fun.
