Limited service from April 20th to 24th
The registration office of the district administration in the Darmstadt district of Wixhausen will remain closed from Monday, April 20th, to Friday, April 24th, 2026. This was announced by the Darmstadt authorities.
Certain services are still available
Despite the closure, some services can still be accessed without an appointment. These include the collection of previously ordered identity documents and the application for police clearance certificates. Registration, household, and residence certificates can also be issued.
Furthermore, it is possible to leave the church and to obtain certificates of eligibility for examination.
Alternative contact point in urgent cases
For urgent matters, the city recommends contacting the central office of the residents' registration office in the town hall at the Luisencenter.
