"The Right of the Weaker" with the Moller Crew in Darmstadt
The Moller Crew of the Moller House Theatre's drama clubs will stage the play "The Right of the Weaker" in June 2026. This youth theatre production combines fantasy elements with current issues surrounding children's rights, participation, and social responsibility.
The setting is a venerable magic school in the remote Crow's Pass. A new class of wizards and witches is sorted into different houses according to traditional rules. But behind the rituals lie rigid hierarchies, unspoken laws, and power structures that are increasingly being questioned.
Not all students are willing to submit to the old rules. At the same time, the actors in the production also refuse to simply perform their roles. The boundaries between stage action and reality are deliberately blurred: The rights that the characters demand within the story symbolically represent universal children's rights and the protection of the vulnerable in the real world.
With "The Right of the Weaker", the Moller Crew presents a production that combines fantasy motifs with social issues and makes young perspectives visible.
