City council chairman Sebastian Schecker invites you to a discussion
The town of Griesheim invites all citizens to a public meeting at the town hall on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the council chamber. Citizens will have the opportunity to learn about current issues affecting the town and to speak directly with representatives from local politics and administration.
Those who cannot attend in person have the option of following the event via livestream.
Questions for politics and administration
Following the welcome address by City Council Chairman Sebastian Schecker, politicians from the City Council will be available to answer questions from the public.
Mayor Geza Krebs-Wetzl will then provide information about current projects and developments in Griesheim. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and offer suggestions.
Topics can be submitted in advance
In order to provide a well-founded answer, the city requests that questions and topics be submitted in advance by email if possible.

Questions can also be asked during the event. Viewers of the livestream also have the opportunity to send their concerns to the city administration via email.
Participation on-site or online
The town hall meeting will be streamed live on the city of Griesheim's website. Coffee and tea will be available for visitors at the town hall.
With this format, the city aims to promote direct exchange between citizens, politics and administration, and to present current municipal issues transparently.
