Tips on online banking, scams and safe browsing
The municipal senior citizens' services in Groß-Gerau invite you to a lecture on the topic of cybercrime on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
The event starts at 3 pm at Haus Raiss, Frankfurter Straße 46.
Internet security measures for everyday life
The speaker is Ewald Galgenmüller, who works on a voluntary basis for the South Hesse Police Headquarters.
In his presentation, he explains what is meant by cybercrime and what security measures can help to better protect oneself on the internet.
He also provides advice on safe online shopping and online banking, as well as tips on dealing with digital scams and risks on the internet.
Supporters are also welcome
According to the organizers, people who can support senior citizens in using smartphones, tablets or computers are especially welcome – regardless of age.
Participation in the event is free.
