Sale from 6 am to 4 pm – dedicated area for vintage and secondhand goods – no registration required for sellers
The next flea market will take place on Karolinenplatz in Darmstadt on Saturday, September 19, 2026. From 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. , clothing, books, toys, and other used items can be bought and sold. A special area for vintage and secondhand goods will again be set up between the State Archives and the State Museum.
Vendors can set up their stalls from 5 a.m. on Saturday . Prior registration is neither required nor possible. Stall spaces will be assigned on site.
The stand fee is six euros per meter
The stall fee is six euros per linear meter and will be collected in cash on site by Darmstadt Marketing. The sales area should not exceed approximately three by one meter. Small umbrellas with a diameter of around 2.50 meters are permitted.
Commercial and itinerant vendors are not permitted to participate. The sale of animals, bulky goods such as furniture, as well as food and beverages is also prohibited. Unsold items must be taken home after the flea market closes.
Vehicles are not permitted to enter the flea market area, even for loading and unloading. Sellers should therefore only bring as much merchandise as they can transport to Karolinenplatz themselves.
According to the organizers, the event team will monitor compliance with setup times and rules, and the local police will enforce them. Violations may result in being asked to leave the premises or receiving a fine. Toilets are available on site.
Vintage and secondhand goods in their own section
The area between the State Archives and the Hessian State Museum is once again designated for vintage and secondhand goods.
from 8 a.m. There will also be a food stand offering bratwurst, fries, and other dishes.
