Open-air exhibition from September 18th showcases winners of a photo competition
The Oberfeld estate is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an open-air photo exhibition . Starting Friday, September 18, 2026, twelve winning photographs from an anniversary photo competition will be displayed in large format on various buildings of the estate. The opening reception begins at 5 p.m. that day.
Under the motto "Show what excites you about Oberfeld!", the Hofgut Oberfeld Foundation had been calling for personal photographic perspectives on the estate since April.
A panel of experts selected twelve images from the submissions. These are divided into three competition categories: "My Oberfeld, "The Professional Eye," and "The Original Eye." The latter category was aimed at people with artistic support needs.
Photographic tour of the estate
The twelve winning images are not presented in a traditional exhibition space. Instead, the large-format photographs are hung throughout the estate's buildings and can be discovered during a tour.
The images show different personal perspectives on the Oberfeld, where, among other things, organic farming, inclusion, biodiversity, educational opportunities and culture come together.
The exhibition is until November 2026. Admission is free.
Winning images will be published as a calendar
The twelve selected photographs will also be published in a wall calendar. This will be available for €20 in the farm shop and workshop of the estate after the exhibition opening.
Admission to the opening on Friday, September 18th, at 5 pm is also free.
