Change after decades of club management
The Eberstadt Mandolin Orchestra has a new leadership team. A new board was elected at the recent members' meeting.
Generational change after 60 years
Long-serving chairman Erich Kraft did not stand for re-election after a total of 60 years in office. For over five decades, he also shaped the club as its conductor.
With the new election, Matthias Hirt now takes over as chairman. He is supported by Michael Berghaus as deputy chairman and treasurer, and Katja Snippen-Welwarsky as secretary.
Management team with many years of experience
The board is supplemented by the assessors Horst Geißler and Thomas Schwenn.
All elected members are active in the orchestra and some bring decades of experience. Furthermore, they have already been involved in organizing concerts and events.
The club is focusing on continuity
With its new board, the mandolin orchestra is positioning itself for the future. The goal remains to continue its musical work and further develop the cultural offerings in Darmstadt-Eberstadt.
