The outdoor swimming pool in Eberstadt will remain open for two more weeks – daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
The outdoor swimming season at the Mühltalbad has been extended until September 27, 2026.The pool in Darmstadt-Eberstadt was originally scheduled to close on September 13. During the additional two weeks, the pool will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6p.m.
The decision was made by Mayor and Head of Sports Hanno Benz and Darmstädter Sportstätten GmbH & Co. KG.
Weather forecast is decisive
The city cites the successful reopening of the Mühltalbad swimming pool and the current weather forecasts for the second half of September as reasons.
“The successful reopening and the continued favorable weather forecast for swimming and bathing were the deciding factors in extending the outdoor swimming season at Eberstadt’s popular outdoor pool by two weeks,” explains Benz.
This means that the Mühltalbad swimming pool can daily between 10 am and 6 pm from September 14th to September 27th inclusive .
