Buy, sell and exchange plants on September 19th in Darmstadt – participation is free for sellers
The BUND Darmstadt (Friends of is holding a plant market on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the BUND Center for Urban Nature. All kinds of plants can be offered – from cuttings of overgrown perennials to plants for balconies, patios, and indoors. Last-minute registrations for your own stall are still possible.
In addition to sales, BUND offers information about native plants and urban nature. The urban nature guides advise interested parties on questions concerning their own garden or planting around a tree in front of their house.
No stall fee for vendors
Anyone wishing to offer plants can register by emailing john.marx@bund.net . There is no stall fee; donations are welcome. Setup begins at 8:00 AM.
During the plant market, visitors can also explore the BUND Center for Urban Nature. According to BUND, the building was awarded the City of Darmstadt's prize for climate protection and adaptation at the end of 2025. Coffee and cake will be available.
The plant market takes place at the BUND Center for Urban Nature, Klappacher Straße 27, 64285 Darmstadt. Access by car is via the entrance to the Orangerie. The center is located at the first gate on the left, behind the old building of the Parks Department.
