The science city of Darmstadt announces the start of registration for the 2026 internship weeks in Hesse. Students and companies can register for the program immediately.
Insights into various professions
The campaign period runs from June 8th to August 7th, 2026. Young people have the opportunity to get to know different professions and make initial contacts with companies through one-day internships.
Pupils aged 14 and over can participate during the first three weeks, and pupils aged 15 and over can participate throughout the entire period.
Digital placement of internships
The matching process takes place via a digital platform that establishes suitable contacts between young people and companies. The aim is to provide practical experience and facilitate career orientation.
Contribution to securing skilled workers
According to the city, the internship weeks offer advantages for both young people and companies. Businesses have the opportunity to get to know potential future employees early on and to make their training opportunities more visible.
The campaign is organized within the framework of the OloV network and is funded by the state of Hesse and the European Social Fund.
