Campaign for the nationwide swimming badge day on June 17th
Children, teenagers, and adults have the opportunity to earn a swimming badge free of charge at the Jugenheim outdoor swimming pool on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. as part of the nationwide Swimming Badge Day.
The swimming badges Seahorse, Bronze, Silver and Gold will be tested.
Registration is requested
To ensure a smooth process, the organizers request prior registration via email to schwimmkurse@dlrg-pfungstadt.de.
The offer is completely free for participants. In addition to admission to the outdoor swimming pool, the test itself, the certificate, and the respective badge are also included.
Greater safety in and around the water
The nationwide swimming badge days are organized by various swimming instruction associations. The aim of the campaign is to strengthen swimming skills among the population and thus increase safety in and around water.
In Jugenheim, the swimming badge day is jointly organized by the swimming pool association, the German Life Saving Association (DLRG) Pfungstadt and the Jugenheim outdoor swimming pool.
Swimming badges for all ages
The offer is aimed at all age groups. Children who want to demonstrate their initial swimming skills, as well as teenagers and adults, can take the opportunity to earn a swimming badge or have their skills officially certified.
