Multiple podium finishes and qualifications for international competitions
The rope skipping teams of TV Seeheim have had a successful competition weekend. At the German Team Championships and the subsequent national finals, the athletes achieved numerous top placements and qualified for international competitions.
Strong performances at the team championships
The teams from Seeheim-Jugenheim already showed good form at the German Team Championships.
In the Single Rope Speed Relay of the AK3 age group, Emma Lyachenko, Ani Machleid, Lara Reichel and Elin Schache achieved second place and thus qualified for the Junior World Championships.
In the AK1 age group, another team finished fourth and secured participation in the Open Tournament. A further qualification was also achieved in the Single Rope Double Under Relay, where a third-place finish was secured.
Podium finishes in several disciplines
The AK2 team was particularly successful, winning several medals. They took silver in the Single Rope Speed Relay and bronze in the Double Dutch Pair Freestyle. The team also finished fourth overall.
Successful national final on Sunday
The Seeheim athletes confirmed their strong performances at the national finals as well. Marit Burger, Amelie Lyachenko, and Su Yilmaz achieved second place in the Double Dutch Speed Sprint for age group 2.
In the creative category, the AK3 team impressed with a third-place finish in the Double Dutch Single Freestyle. Further strong results rounded out the team's performance.
Focus on international competitions
With the qualifications achieved, the club will also be represented at international competitions this summer. These include, among others, European competitions in Norway.
TV Seeheim thus builds on previous successes and confirms its strong youth development work in rope skipping.
