Eberstadt Citizens' Association continues tradition on September 20th after a one-year break
The Eberstadt Citizens' Association, founded in 1980, will continue a long-standing tradition on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the "Wine in the Forge" event will take place again at the Geibel blacksmith's shop in Eberstadt, featuring the presentation of a donated barrique barrel.
The wine donation was paused last year. This year, Melanie Müller and Manfred Straninger on the role of wine donors. They are presenting the citizens' association with the contents of a barrique barrel of wine from the Schenk-Siebert winery in Grünstadt-Sausenheim in the Palatinate region.
Donated wine can be tasted
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste the donated wine at the event. Food and other drinks will also be available.
"Wine in the Forge" begins on September 20th at 11:00 AM at the Geibel forge, Oberstraße 20 in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. Further information is available from the Eberstadt Citizens' Association at info@e-bv.info.
