Canadian country musician on the tree stage on June 14, 2026
The "Gute Stube" concert series is once again hosting an open-air concert at the Jugendhof Bessunger Forst during its summer break. Canadian singer-songwriter Zachary Lucky will perform there on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The concert starts at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.
Lucky is considered a representative of classic country and roots music. With his raspy baritone voice and narrative songs, he musically moves between folk and traditional country. As the grandson of Canadian country musician Smilin' Johnnie Lucky, he is often compared to songwriters like Gordon Lightfoot or Kris Kristofferson.
Zachary Lucky is presenting his new album "The Lost River Sessions" on his current European tour. The concert in Darmstadt is his first performance in the city.

Before the concert, the Darmstadt DJ duo "Paisley United" will provide the musical entertainment. Josko and Peter will play a set spanning funk, soul, disco, reggae, and world music, thus continuing the afternoon program of the ForstLoveCafé.
