KVHS offers papier-mâché and painting techniques at Dornberg Castle
During the Easter holidays, the Groß-Gerau District Adult Education Center (KVHS) is offering two creative courses for children at Dornberg Castle. According to the KVHS, the focus will be on artistic experimentation and imaginative work.
Papier-mâché course: Easter bunnies and fantasy figures
The series kicks off with the "Paper Mache Easter Bunny" course for children aged 6 to 11. On March 31st and April 7th, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm, participants will learn the versatile technique of papier-mâché. Using paper and paste, they will create sturdy figures – from the classic Easter bunny to their own imaginative creatures.
Painting with wax and watercolors
Following this is the course "Enchanting Spring Pictures" for children aged 6 to 10. The dates are April 8th and 15th, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm each day. In this course, the children will experiment with watercolors and wax, playfully discovering a special painting technique.
Participants should bring materials such as sturdy drawing paper, watercolors or ink, as well as wax crayons or candles.
Course information and registration
Both courses are led by Anna Raba and cost €28.78 each.
