Klaus Wagner and Martin Jakob will take over management on July 1st
ENTEGA Wastewater Treatment will see a change in management on July 1, 2026. As the company announced, Dr. Julia Klinger resigned from her position as Managing Director on June 30. She will join the Executive Board of ENTEGA AG as Chief Human Resources Officer on July 1.
At the same time, Klaus Wagner and Martin Jakob are appointed as the new managing directors of ENTEGA wastewater treatment. Both had already served as authorized signatories for the company for many years.

Extensive experience in commercial and technical management
Klaus Wagner holds a degree in Business Administration (FH) and has been with the ENTEGA Group since 2000. Since 2010, he has been responsible for the commercial operations of ENTEGA Wastewater Treatment as an authorized signatory. He will now assume the role of Managing Director, taking over the company's commercial management.
Martin Jakob, a graduate engineer in mechanical engineering, has been with the company since 1990. After various roles as operations manager of wastewater treatment plants, he assumed overall management of the wastewater unit in 2000. He has been an authorized signatory for the division since 2012. As managing director, he will be responsible for the technical business unit.

Dr. Klinger is moving to the board of ENTEGA AG
Dr. Julia Klinger is optimistic about the succession plan. "With Mr. Wagner and Mr. Jakob, two long-standing and highly experienced experts in our field are taking over the management of ENTEGA Wastewater Treatment. Both stand for continuity, reliability, and the successful further development of our wastewater activities – both professionally and personally," she explains.
Klinger will assume responsibility for personnel and infrastructure as a member of the board of ENTEGA AG.

With the appointment of these two long-serving executives, ENTEGA Wastewater Treatment is prioritizing continuity and internal expertise. Both new managing directors have been with the company for decades and possess extensive experience in the technical and commercial challenges of the sector.
