Magical event at the Oetinger Villa attracts visitors
The fantasy market "Spring Awakening" will take place again at the Oetinger Villa in Darmstadt on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The event is now one of the few of its kind in the region and is aimed at everyone interested in fantasy, art, and creative expression.
Creative diversity and a special atmosphere
The market is organized as part of the "Whimsical Events" series and offers a mix of arts and crafts, experiences and a themed supporting program.
Visitors can discover jewelry, illustrations, decorations, and unique one-of-a-kind items, among other things. The offerings are complemented by activities such as fantasy face painting, tarot readings, temporary tattoos, and a photo booth. The Darmstadt Illustrators' Association's "Illubox" is also part of the program.
Live music from a bard will create the perfect atmosphere. Guests in costume can also look forward to small surprises.
Cooperation and growing interest
The event is organized in cooperation with the association Vielbunt e. V. and has become a regular meeting place for the fantasy community in recent years. According to the organizer, the market now attracts several hundred visitors from Darmstadt and the surrounding region.

The fantasy market "Spring Awakening" will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Oetinger Villa in Darmstadt. Admission is free.
