Four seminars will strengthen rhetoric, leadership and communication in August
The Groß-Gerau District Adult Education Center (KVHS) is offering four compact online workshops for professional development in August. The three-hour seminars are aimed at working professionals and anyone who wants to specifically develop their communication and interpersonal skills. The courses will be led by communication trainer Matthias Dahms.
The series kicks off on Monday, August 10th, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the workshop "Rhetoric: Confident Presentation – Persuasive Argumentation – Making a Compelling Impression". The focus will be on a convincing presentation, effective argumentation, and confidently handling objections.
On Tuesday, August 11th, the training in quick-wittedness. Participants will learn to react spontaneously and confidently even in difficult conversation situations, and to counter objections effectively.
The workshop “From Employee to Manager” will take place on Wednesday, August 12th. It is aimed at aspiring managers and provides practical basics on communication, motivation, delegation and employee management.
The workshop “Practicing Small Talk: Making New Contacts Professionally and Personally” will take place on Thursday, August 13th . It will focus on successfully initiating conversations, overcoming inhibitions, and the targeted use of small talk for networking and building professional contacts.
All workshops take place online, last from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. , and cost 75 euros. The KVHS plans to offer further online professional development courses in the second half of the year.
