Insights into history as well as demonstrations of spinning and weaving
The Biebesheim am Rhein Local History Museum will participate in International Museum Day on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Visitors can tour the museum on this day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Experience craftsmanship live
In the afternoon, the spinning and weaving group of the Biebesheim local history society will present traditional spinning and weaving techniques. Those interested can gain insights into this ancient craft and learn about the methods used.
Furthermore, there is the possibility to join the group and learn the techniques yourself.
Exhibition and outdoor area open
In addition to the permanent exhibition in the museum, the coach house and the lapidarium can also be visited.
Admission is free.
