51 hiking enthusiasts on a hike near Trebur storks
The Odenwald Club of Groß-Gerau was out hiking again. This time, the destination was Oberwiesensee near Trebur.
Hiking in sunshine and birdsong
Hike leaders Sigrid and Richard Engel welcomed the participants with light refreshments at the start. Fellow hiker Ursula Böhm also provided refreshments along the way.
The route led past the swimming pool in Trebur, along field paths and over the Schwarzbach bridge, up to the dam. Both hiking groups were accompanied by sunny weather and birdsong.
Storks and nature along the route
Along the path, striking trees and flowering meadows offered hikers many impressions. Several storks could also be observed in the immediate vicinity.
A walk around the Oberwiesensee lake eventually led the group to the Angler-Stubb, where the participants enjoyed a convivial get-together.
Ten kilometers covered
After the break, the group returned to Trebur via field paths and the dam. In total, the 51 hikers covered approximately ten kilometers.
Hiking coordinator Beate Bolbach thanked Sigrid and Richard Engel for organizing and conducting the tour.
