Overview of opening times for Woog, DSW-Bad and Mühltalbad
As the city of Darmstadt, a center of science and research, announces, the 2026 outdoor swimming season will begin on May 17th and end on September 13th. During this period, several outdoor swimming pools within the city limits will be open to visitors.
The Woog family pool, the Woog Island, and the Arheilger Mühlchen are open from May 17th until the end of the season. The DSW outdoor pool in Darmstadt opens a day later, on May 18th. The Mühltalbad Eberstadt is expected to open on June 4th.

Opening hours vary depending on the pool and season:
Woog Family Bath and Woog Island
Monday, Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Until September 13th: daily until 7 pm
Arheilger Mühlchen
Outside of summer holidays: daily 2 pm to 8 pm
Summer holidays (June 29 to August 7): daily 10 am to 8 pm
- Until September 13th: daily until 7 pm
DSW outdoor swimming pool Darmstadt
Monday, Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Mühltalbad Eberstadt (from approximately June 4th)
Monday, Saturday and Sunday: 9 am to 8 pm
Wednesday to Friday: 8 am to 8 pm
Tuesday: 7 am to 8 pm
Information for visitors
For all outdoor swimming pools: ticket sales end one hour before closing time, and swimming ends 30 minutes before closing. Opening hours on public holidays are the same as on Sundays.
