The 42-kilometer tour led along the Main River and through the Mönchbruch area
The Odenwald Club Groß-Gerau kicked off the new cycling season with a bike tour to Raunheim. Tour leader Martin Dammel welcomed the 14 participants at the Mönchbruchhütte in perfect spring weather.
Joint stopover in Raunheim
The route initially led to the shooting range in Raunheim. There, the group met up with other guests who had arrived by car. After a shared lunch and a pleasant get-together, the cycling group continued their tour.
Photos at the Mönchhof Chapel
The route continued through Raunheim and along the Main River to the secluded Mönchhof Chapel. There, the participants stopped for a group photo shoot.
The route then led along the airport and through the Mönchbruch back to the Mönchbruchhütte.
Successful start to the season
After a total of 42 kilometers, the groups from Groß-Gerau and Nauheim separated for their individual journeys home. The participants were very pleased with the successful start to the season and are already looking forward to more rides together.
